History of Cider Press
Many of the intensive labour of years gone by was done by local
people living nearby. One of the perks of this was the employer
would provide cider made from apples grown in the farms own orchards
and made into cider using the granite press which was originally
located in the cottage kitchen. The cider press now is part of the
garden feature up and Hayloft. |
